British Gas Great North Swim

Following the postponement of the British Gas Great North Swim at the weekend, we are extremely disappointed to have to let you know that it will not be possible to stage the event in 2010. We had hoped to stage the event this weekend but there are signs posted up by the Environment Agency, South Lakeland District Council and the Health Protection Agency are at various locations on the Shores of Lake Windermere warning of toxic algae and we have therefore reluctantly left with no choice but to cancel the event.
