Beat Your Best

And Help Fundraise for The Lake District Foundation

The Great North Swim is back in Brockhole Windermere from the 12th – 14th June, and to celebrate their association with the UK’s biggest open water swim, title partner Coventry Building Society is launching a new fundraising initiative.

‘Beat Your Best’ is encouraging swimmers of all abilities to set themselves a target time before the event. For every swimmer who beats their target, Coventry Building Society will mark the achievement by making a donation to the Lake District Foundation.*

Combining personal challenge, fundraising and environmental impact, ‘Beat Your Best’ showcases how Coventry Building Society is supporting both participants and the local landscape.

Jon Badger, Senior Sponsorship Manager at Coventry Building Society said:

“We’re passionate about protecting and preserving our beautiful countryside, and this swimmer challenge reflects our commitment to sustainability and our B Corp values. This event is a fantastic celebration of people coming together to embrace the outdoors. Around 6,500 swimmers are expected to take to the water over the weekend and if we all sign up to beat our target even by a few minutes we can all make a huge difference. Join the ‘Beat Your Best’ challenge and together help us fundraise to support projects that protects the waters which host this iconic event and keep them safe for future generations to enjoy.”
