Because the human body is made up of 70 per cent water, we're rather good at floating. Enjoy the feeling of weightlessness in with a low-impact exercise.
Swimming is a great cardiovascular workout that elevates the heart and respiratory rates, to improve your overall health.
When you swim, you exercise many of the muscles in your body and burn about the same number of calories as you would by fast walking or jogging. It also eases pressure on your back and legs because there is virtually no impact. If you suffer from joint pain swimming; is the activity for you.
